At the beginning of the vatari war, the Church of the Intervanatis designed a battle ship in the likeness of the gods. This ship was known as, the Intervanatis. The orignal plans for the vessel were aquired months ago via the black market, however due to the lack of certain technologies the ship was redesigned by a Knosson Priest known as Vumar Kay. Vumar used the space of the Interdiction generators on the previous design to extend the vessels weapon capacity, the spine of the ship now boasts a devastating Magnus beam cannon that has been configured to fire from the forward pylons, to match the way the gods attack their prey. The Magnus beam has been at the expeirmental stage for years, but now finally seems to have been put to good use. The refire rate of the magnus beam on board the Cardinal support frigate is poor, but it is what makes this vessel one of the most powerful support craft available today.
