The Hell Hound was designed by a Knosson follower named Lorfion Hudar to act as a cost effective means of combating heavier vessels. While often compared with the Human Escourt Frigate, Sub-light and hyperdrive speeds are slightly slower than its human counterpart. The Hell Hound is armed with four T-800 Turbo Laser Cannons on its forward combat foils, along with dual linked coherent pulse beam cannons on the lateral fins. The combat foils can be jettisoned in emergency situations to increase the vessels speed, however the vessel is then left defenceless.
