The Hector Class Interdictor was designed by the Human Confederate Guard research and development team at New London in early 2771. The Vessel fulfills the need for a Heavier Class of Interdictor capable of suffering mass damage allowing fleets to hold their enemies longer in combat. The Hector is basically a refit Aurora with added Interdiction Generators and modifcations to the forward weapons array, six Broadsword S-3 Torpedoes batteries have been removed to make way for the new generators. The cruiser also contains hanger bays for carrying up to 12 fighters.
