IF inc. were commisioned by the military to create an interceptor capable of taking out incoming enemy bombers before they get in range of convoys. What they created was the fastest and most versatile interceptor in the galaxy. The Vyper is a one man vessel which is extremley maneuverable, capable of attack vectors from almost any angle. Its rate of climb is superb, while it can turn at an extremley tight angle to evade enemy fire that would otherwise penatrate its weak armour. The Vypers firepower is extremley potent for such a small vessel. While its armour is not strong this is more than made up from its high manuervbility.
