The Preacher is one of the most important religious craft in the cultist fleet. Being not quite a military craft but not quite a civilian craft, the preacher is crewed almost exclusivley by priests. Whenever it encounters a lifeform not of the true faith, its priests are bound by holy orders to indoctrinate the subject into the mysteries of the Vatari. Should the subject resist, or the priests fail for any reason, the subject is brought before a holy court, tried for heresy and promptly executed. As a result of its religious significance the Preacher is not as heavily armed as it might be, but it is more than capable of holding its own.
