The Saratoga Class Heavy Carrier is a relativly new design, having been in service for only 10 years. Its ability to carry a full squadron of fighters and bombers means that it is the largest Carrier in Human fleets. Saratoga class Carriers while having a low offensive capability have an extremley tough synthethic crystaline hull which makes the them extremley tough to damage. It is also, the only Carrier in service at the moment with the capacity to carry the Phoenix ISS bomber. All of this makes the Saratoga the best carrier currently in service.
